About The Bloat Guide
The Bloat Guide is an independent review site for detox teas and digestive supplements. We read the manufacturer's own ingredient panel instead of the sales page, and we're funded by affiliate commissions — not by the brands we review.
What we do
Detox tea and digestive supplement marketing runs on before-and-after photos, permanent "last day" discounts, and media logos with no actual articles behind them. We exist to read the label instead: what's actually in the blend, what the caffeine content really is, what the guarantee covers once you factor in shipping, and whether the claims on the sales page match what the manufacturer's own supplement facts panel says.
How we're funded
Through affiliate commissions. If you buy a product through a link on this site, the retailer pays us a commission at no extra cost to you. This funds the site, but it does not set the score a product receives — a product that turns out worse than advertised gets reported that way, and a product that turns out better than we expected does too. We are not the official website of any brand we cover, and we don't sell or fulfil any product ourselves; every purchase happens on the merchant's own site.
How we research a product
- We read the ingredient list on the manufacturer's own page, not the sales copy.
- We check every marketing claim against an independent source — a health authority, a published study, or the product's own supplement facts panel.
- We go through the order page ourselves so we can report the real price delivered, including shipping, not just the headline number.
- We publish the shipping cost and the guarantee terms in full, including anything the sales page leaves out.
- We revisit and update reviews on a regular schedule — prices, policies and formulas change, and an old review that doesn't reflect that isn't useful to anyone.
Corrections
If something on this site is wrong, outdated, or you think we got a detail incorrect, tell us. We verify the claim against the manufacturer's own material and correct the page promptly, with the "last updated" date reflecting the change. See how to reach us.
